TIPS AND TRICKS TO
SURVIVE THE WORLD OF TEYVAT
PICK UP THE SPARKLING THINGS YOU SEE
As you walk and explore around Teyvat, you'll notice some sparkling environmental items everywhere. These flowers, ingredients, and other seemingly useless items will later help you craft various foods and ascension materials for your character. Ascension materials such as flowers only respawn after a certain number of days in the real world, so you don't want to end up waiting for 2 days to level up your character just because you ran out of ascension materials.
STATUES OF SEVEN CAN HEAL
Most players doesn't know that the statue of seven can heal from the start. Eating food heals and revives the party, but it can be gone quickly if you're not careful and there is a limit on how much you can feed your characters. In between battles, consider teleporting back to one of the Seven Statues. Statue of Sevens are large statues that you use to unlock a new place in your map. When you get close to it, it will automatically revive your party members and heal them.
MARK THE “-CULUS” YOU FIND
Anemoculus, Geoculus, Electroculus, and Dendroculus are hidden objects around Teyvat. They can be found in caves, floating on cliffs, above the trees and in many other places. You'll need all of these to increase your stamina, so it's a good idea to keep track of them as you find them, as there are hundreds of them. Hoyolab's interactive map lets you mark orbs as you find them, making it easier to track them down.
USE YOUR PRIMOGEMS WISELY
Wishes are a gacha element of Genshin Impact, where you can randomly obtain weapons and characters of various rarities in exchange for premium currency. The player can grant 1 wish at a time, or 10 wishes at a time. Do not waste your primogems at Standard Banner as you will receive a lot of Acquaint Fates from leveling up, ascending your characters and more. If the 5 character/s you want can be found on Standard Banner, you still do not want to waste your primogems there as you have the chance to get them in Limited Banners if you lose the 50/50. Save your primogems for the characters you like or waiting for, do not build pity especially if you are guaranteed.
MAKE USE OF ELEMENTAL REACTIONS
Combat in Genshin Impact is element-based. You can combine the two elements to deal extra damage or create bonus effects such as: Freezing an object with water, Vaporizing an enemy with fire and water. Due to these combat considerations, we need to diversify our team in multiple ways. By switching between characters and using their abilities, you can command battles with elemental explosions. Each element combination has a different effect. So experiment and find out which combination works best. These elemental reactions have a lot of damage so it can help you defeat enemies faster.
LEY LINES GIVES YOU MORA AND EXP BOOKS
Ley Lines are the yellow and blue bubbles that rewards you with mora and EXP booklets respectively. Outcrops of these Ley Lines can be found in each region, offering a different set of opponents depending on which region they're in — players will find themselves preferring one nation over others based on the elements and reactions found in their team. Ley Lines are useful especially when you ran out of EXP books and mora to upgrade your characters.
DO THE DAILY COMMISSIONS
After reaching AR 12, players can now do daily commissions. Through this, players can receive 4 commissions every day, each with its own reward. It is recommended for players to do these as often as possible after reaching level 12. Daily Commissions also reward you with a total of 60 primogems a day, 10 primogems for each commission and extra 20 primogems if you talk to Katheryne after completing the four commissions.
COMPLETE ACHIEVEMENTS
The game offers several achievements that can be accessed from the main menu. The important thing about achievements is that completing an achievement grants the player 5 or more of his Primogem per achievement. Most complete automatically as you progress through the story or complete random quests, but it can also be helpful to review them from time to time to complete additional tasks that are often overlooked. There are also some hidden achievements, but this is just one that most players overlook in the game.
KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR STAMINA
Besides combat, each character consumes stamina through various actions such as dashing, dodging, climbing, swimming, and gliding. Stamina meter appears as UI item in a yellow bar to the right of the character when charged and automatically hides when not in use. The more stamina you have, the longer you can do all these tasks before your stamina meter fills up. It's an important resource, so you'll need to level it up over time. This can be achieved by collecting the Oculus (Anemoculus, Geoculus, Electroculus, and Dendroculus) and visiting and worshiping the statue of the Seven where these are consumed.
ONLY FARM FOR ARTIFACTS AT AR 45
5-star artifacts can be accessed when you reach AR 45. It is not recommended to waste your resin and fragile resins on artifacts before AR 45. For early game, you can earn artifacts by doing just about anything in the game like opening chests, finishing quests, earning special experiences in your Adventurer's Handbook, winning battles, and so on. These are special accessories or items that you can attach to your characters to provide special healing bonuses, damage output, HP, and critical hits. Each character can equip up to five artifacts. Once you place a particular artifact in an empty character slot, you can see the changes in 2-piece and 4-piece set stat bonuses on the right. These artifacts can help you get better at the game in terms of combat making each battle easier for you to clear.
